Changing the way entrepreneursgrow business and raise capitalMethod
LC Impact focuses on building business models centered on a clear product/value for small businesses. Via accelerator programs we adopt lean startup principles, conduct sessions, link up with mentors/entrepreneurs and facilitate market connections. Presently, our focus industry is agriculture and technology e.g. we work with bio-tech businesses who provide small-holder farmers with seedlings developed in low cost green houses. We have run 25+ accelerator programs and have currently have USD 1.5 million+ in committed capital from investors for our graduates.
Industries we serve
Bangladesh’s fertile geography makes it ideal for agriculture and agro-based businesses. 20-30% percent of the GDP comes from the agriculture sector, 47% of the total workforce is employed in this sector, and 80% of the businesses in the ag-sector are MSMEs (micro, small and medium enterprises). At LC Impact, our focus is on regions where Ag-SMEs that receive little market-relevant business development support, practical opportunities to accelerate growth, and opportunities to link with growth-orientated funding opportunities. This includes regions in Northern Bangladesh – predominantly Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions, as well as Khulna, Sylhet, Barisal and Dhaka Divisions.
LC Impact is an energetic team of young professionals who have already demonstrated in our collaboration to deliver our proposals on time to the respective donors.
I am quite impressed with them and feel confident working with them.
LC Impact and SFSA both have a long way to go in making agri-businesses more sustainable and profitable for a developed Bangladesh. Together working as a team we can make this possible.
We are always open to working with LC Impact. As impact investors finding a quality deal pipeline is important for us and LC Impact has helped us to scout mission-driven seed and series A level investments.
